Artist • Gardener
Pam is a career artist, gardener, birder and wildlife rehabilitation volunteer who has been rescuing migratory birds for nearly 15 years. Her passion for nature and gardening led her to the Joseph Regenstein, Jr. School of the Chicago Botanic Garden for gardening/design certifications. She works as a gardener, container garden designer and landscape designer in addition to her career in design, illustration and landscape watercolor painting. Having documented over 110 bird species in her Chicago backyard bird/wildlife habitat she created, she includes her photographs of many visiting birds and pollinators in her presentation “Birds in the Garden”. Presenting to organizations around the Chicagoland area, she hopes to inspire others by spreading the encouraging word that it IS possible to attract many bird species to our gardens... provide and they WILL come!
